JAC Acquisition, LLC leadership team brings over 30 years of Real Estate, Right of Way, Relocation and Project Management experience to JAC. They have completed all types of projects in the city, suburbs and farmlands.
James Chapman
President/Owner
Before founding JAC, James spent over 3 years at HDR, Engineering Inc. and nearly 11 years with NCDOT's ROW Division. While at HDR James was Project Manager/Senior Real Estate Agent. James worked on numerous NC, SC and GA right of way projects for state and local municipalities. While with NCDOT, James assisted with conducting appraisals of real and personal property, negotiating to acquire land and interests therein for NCDOT highways and other public projects in the state.
He relocated displaced claimants and collaborated with federal agencies to make certain all federal procedures were followed. His experience has made him proficient with the federal, state, and industry laws and regulations such as FHWA, FAA, FTA, FRA, FERC, and Uniform Relocation Act regulations. James has his Prequalification Certification with the GA Department of Transportation was scheduled to assist with Relocation on the SR 162 project along with multi-firm teaming partners while at HDR.
Angela Chapman
Vice President of Human Resources
Angela Chapman has over 20 years in Human Resource Management experience. Angela brings a wealth of HR knowledge. Her expertise is recruitment, on boarding, training, benefits management, employee development, labor relations and compliance.
James has providing acquisition of easements for parcels to provide utility access to the new facility. The property owners included the local school district and two development companies. HDR has worked closely with the County's Engineering Department through this process. James completed the easement acquisition for this project.
John Chapman
Vice President of Real Estate
After be licensed in North Carolina in 1999, John joined the sales team of Howard Perry and Walston, Coldwell Banker located in Raleigh North Carolina. In 2003, John served as co–owner of J & L Investments. During his time with J & L, John specialized in property acquisition and property management. Later John was pleased to join the JAC team. Since his time at JAC, John acquired additional licensure, certifications and experience in the area of land acquisition and relocation. John now serves as the Vice President of Real Estate Services for JAC Land Acquisition, LLC. John is relational, detail oriented and in alignment with JAC's vision of affordability, quality control and project completion before deadlines.
